PlusFourSix is a pioneer within the field of digital media and is now the leading provider of white- label digital music subscription services in Scandinavia. We are currently working with most of the major digital music retailers in Scandinavia and our customers include Spotify, 3 Sweden, 3 Denmark, Tele2, Comviq, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.

PlusFourSix is now expanding outside Scandinavia with the goal to become the leading provider of white-label music subscription services in Europe. To achieve this we need to strengthen our organization with more great people. We offer you a fast-paced and challenging work environment within a friendly multi-cultural team located in central Stockholm.


We are looking for a qualified developer with experience of large, scalable web platforms. We believe you have worked at least five years with:

• Java Development
• Linux or OSX (bash or equivalent)
• Relational databases, SQL and preferably also some document databases, NoSQL
• Web servers and servlet containers: Apache, Tomcat, etc
• Transaction handling in both database and business layers

Additional areas of experience are also of interest.

The ideal candidate should have a Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, but it’s not a requirement as long as you have acquired comparable competence elsewhere. We are looking for good problem-solvers who can handle responsibility well. Experience within this arena prior to your education will be an advantage. Hobby projects are also of interest.

As you will be working within a team of developers as well as together with non-technical persons, strong communication skills are vital, as well as the ability to cooperate with other people to ensure that efficient products are delivered. Furthermore, as PlusFourSix pride ourselves of delivering complex projects in short time constraints – while at the same time maintaining a high level of quality – it is important for the candidate to be able to maintain flexibility and be willing to take on tasks that may be new to him.
